قصتة::
Criss Angel was born in East Meadow, Long Island on December 19, 1967. His birth name is Christopher N. Sarantakos. He's the youngest of three boys in a close-knit Greek-American family. (Note: You can see his mother, Dimitra and brothers JD and Costa on "Mindfreak" from time to time. They usually are the ones with their hearts in their throats as Criss performs yet another death-defying stunt!)
Criss knew from the age of six when he first saw his Aunt Stella perform a trick for him that he wanted to be a magician. By the age of 12, he got his first paying gig. At the tender age of 19, he was already earning up to $3,000 per week performing at kid's parties and nightclubs. He has studied mysticism, yoga, martial arts and dance. Criss also received pyrotechnic licenses at the ages of 18 and 21.
